Rollercoaster faith. Christianity. It's what I grew up in, it's what I profess to, and it's what makes life both complicated and rewarding. I often tell myself that my faith has been the carry-all through all sorts of struggles, jealousies, and conflicts. Naturally, faith has become a part of my identity, and sometimes I wonder who I really am apart from my faith. Sometimes my faith is strong, passionate, like a fire. Sometimes my faith is fatigued, worn down, barely breathing. Throughout it all there have been several mission trips, countless church retreats and revivals, Harvest Crusades, workshops, and even work at a local retail Christian bookstore. And although I feel like I've learned so much, I still feel like there's so much more to learn. I suppose that's the nature of theology. How can a finite being fully know an infinite One? The question is an exacerbating one, because while I'm thankful there's still more to know about God, I get exhausted in the process. The Bible resonates with themes of diligence, perseverance, and faithfulness, but I can't deny that sometimes I just want to give it all up. The anaheim eden-grace chapel is the home to my experience with faith, including prayers and other God-thoughts as well as links to other notable sites on the web. The name of the chapel is derived from the three churches of my life most influential to me. Anaheim Korean Presbyterian Church was home to me from late junior high to my junior year in high school; Eden Presbyterian Church was the church I grew up in with my family; and Grace Covenant Campus Church is the church I currently attend while in college. Enjoy your time in the chapel, and please feel free to e-mail me your thoughts on faith and spirituality.
